InLikeMe.com Scholarship Program

InLikeMe.com, an internationally renowned college admission and student aid resource hub, has launched its 2011 Scholarship Program. This year’s essay contest is open to high school juniors and seniors.  
InLikeMe.com Essay Contest Information

  • Eligibility: 11th and 12th Graders
  • Entry Deadline: May 31, 2011
  • FIRST PRIZE: $1,000.   
ADDITIONAL PRIZES TO BE AWARDED

Topics

  • Select ONE of the following THREE topics:
  1. Describe your involvement in a school or community activity in which you made a positive contribution. What did you accomplish, and why was it meaningful to you? (250-500 words)
  2. Based on your personal experiences, describe what leadership means to you. Elaborate on an experience where you utilized your leadership qualities, explaining what personal attributes you utilized in achieving a desired outcome. What did you learn from this experience? (250-500 words)
  3. Describe an interest or talent that you have, and explain how you incorporated that interest or talent into a significant activity.  Why is it meaningful to you? (250-500 words)

Judging

  • Essays must be based on the entrant’s personal experience and will be judged on content and style. Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate and logically organized. Judges may request verification of content from finalists, to promote honesty among entrants.
